Mobile broadband - pay per day
To get Mobile Broadband you'll need a compatible laptop, a Mobile Broadband device (which you'll need to buy) and mobile broadband coverage, check it out at t-mobile.co.uk/mobilebroadband. You'll need to choose if you want a day, a week, any 7 days to use over 30 days, or 30 days of Mobile Broadband.
If you're a pay as you go customer, the cost will come straight out of your top up credit. If you're a pay monthly customer, the cost will be added to your monthly bill. Your day will run out exactly 24 hours after you buy it. If you've bought 1 week, it will run out exactly 7 days from when you bought it. And if you’ve bought 30 days it will run out exactly 30 days from when you bought it. If you've bought any 7 days you'll have 30 days from the time of purchase to use your 7 days, or you'll lose them. Each day will last for exactly 24 hours from the moment you activate it. When your Mobile Broadband runs out you'll then need to buy more days to keep using it. If you want to use Mobile Broadband outside the UK you'll need to pay more. If you don't use your plan for 180 days, we'll cancel it and your Mobile Broadband device won't work. You'll lose any top up credit left on your account.
Each plan comes with a fair use policy. You can buy an additional day, week, Any 7 days and 30 days time periods before your current time runs out. The additional time period will start automatically and immediately the first one stops. The day has a fair use policy of 0.25GB, the week has a fair use policy of 0.5GB, any 7 days has a fair use policy of 0.25GB for each day and the 30 day has a 1GB fair use policy. We'll monitor how much you send and receive during your plan so that we can protect our network for all customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use your plan. Remember that you can't use your plan to make internet phone calls. If you want pay monthly Mobile Broadband Pay per day we may need to do a credit check.
Mobile Broadband 1GB (18 and 24 months)
Mobile Broadband is for use in the UK only. You'll need to promise to stay with us for 18 or 24 months and pass our standard credit check. You'll need a compatible laptop, an enabled device like a Mobile Broadband USB stick and mobile broadband coverage. You can check your coverage at t-mobile.co.uk/mobilebroadband. Remember that you can't use your plan to make internet phone calls. If you use your plan outside the UK, we'll add any roaming charges to your pay monthly account, please see the webpage mentioned above for more details. * This plan comes with a fair use policy of 1GB a month. Mobile Broadband for 90 days
You get 90 days of Mobile Broadband and a Mobile Broadband USB Stick. You'll need a compatible laptop and mobile broadband coverage, check it out at t-mobile.co.uk/mobilebroadband. You'll need to activate your Mobile Broadband by clicking on the 'Activate' button on the Mobile Broadband landing page. When your 90 days of Mobile Broadband is up, you can then buy one of our other great pay per day options or another 90 days. Remember that your 90 days of Mobile Broadband has been paid for up front and that you won't be able to get a refund if you stop using it within that time. To make sure all our customers get a high quality of service, a fair use policy of 1GB per calendar month applies. We'll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use your plan. Remember that you can't use Mobile Broadband to make internet phone calls and if you want to use it outside the UK you'll need to pay more.

If you decide to upgrade or cancel your contract you'll need to give 30 days notice to us by phone.

Coverage checker
In areas where high quality outdoor coverage is indicated, it's usually possible to use mobile broadband within buildings, but this does depend on the construction of the building. Please also note that the service areas are based on computer prediction. Whilst we have tried to make this guide as accurate as possible, as at the date of publication, the information provided is not a guarantee of service availability. All products using radio technology, including television and car radios, can be affected by local physical conditions which may interfere with radio signals. As with other mobile broadband services, T-Mobile mobile broadband can be affected in tunnels, dips, cuttings and wooded areas. In some cases, use of your mobile broadband will be impaired inside buildings. Therefore, even in high quality service areas, additional sites might be planned to improve the level of in-building coverage in known problem areas.
Broadband and Off Peak Calls
The Broadband and Off Peak Calls plan has a 12 month minimum connection period and costs £5 a month for T-Mobile pay monthly (excluding mobile broadband) and pay as you go customers. The plan costs £5 more a month for non T-Mobile customers. Existing T Mobile pay as you go customers must have at least £1 credit in their account to get the £5 discount offer. This offer is not available to business customers or existing broadband customers who already have a promotional offer. If you take out this offer and then cancel your pay monthly plan for whatever reason, you will lose the £5 discount for the remainder of your broadband plan's 12 month term.
This price assumes payment by direct debit. If you want to pay by debit or credit card there will be additional separate payment handling charge of 50p a month. You'll also need a BT line and have to pay £13.50 Orange line rental a month on top. These prices are available to customers who live in an Orange broadband network area, which is 85% of all UK homes. If you don't live in an Orange network area you can still get Broadband and Off Peak calls for an extra £10 per month.
Your inclusive calls are to UK landlines starting with 01, 02, 03, 0845 and 0870 using your landline between 7pm to 7am weekdays and all times at weekends. You can call for up to one hour, redial as often as you like and calls are subject to our fair use policy of 1000 minutes a month. If you go over that amount we reserve the right to monitor your usage and/or suspend or terminate your service. We will give you reasonable notice of our intention to suspend or terminate the service and give you the opportunity to reduce your usage. If you want to use voicemail you'll need to activate it. When your home phone is connected we'll send you an email explaining how. It can take up to 48 hours to activate your voicemail. If you do not access your voicemail for more than 90 days, we reserve the right to deactivate it. You will be able to reactive it again for no charge if you wish.
You'll need a wireless enabled computer or adapter to be able to connect to your wireless router. Our fastest download speed is up to 20 Meg (up to 8 Meg in non-Orange broadband areas). Speeds vary significantly depending on line quality and distance from exchange. We manage our network at peak and congested times by prioritising gaming and voice over the internet and slowing down peer to peer and newsgroup services. To get McAfee Anti-Virus Plus 2012 with Parental Controls, you'll need to register and apply online through Your Account.
It can take up to 20 days in order for us to get you set up with Broadband and Off Peak Calls.

Once your allowance is used up, all calls are rounded to the nearest minute and are charged at 12.7p/min for calls made between 7am -7pm; 7.6 p/min for calls made between 7pm – 7am and 7.2 p/min at the weekend. Calls to call forwarding services (including those beginning 07), 05, 08 and 09 numbers are not included. 070 numbers cost up to £1.67 p/min. 09 numbers cost up to £1.83 p/min. Remember if you don’t use all of the minutes included in your allowance each month, you’ll lose them.
